Actor Simbu, who was most recently seen on screen in Sundar C's Vandhaa Rajavathaan Varuven had marked Venkat Prabhu's next film Maanaadu next, and the film which should start shooting a year ago, had just started shooting in march 2020 but however it couldn't proceed  because of the Coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown.
