Madarasapattinam movie released in  2010 directed by AL Vijay  featuring Arya and Amy Jackson in lead roles  and now  the director AL Vijay has uncovered a mystery about the film. 

Madarasapattinam was Amy Jackson's Tamil film debut movie and following this achievement, she proceeded to act in movies like Theri with Vijay,  2.0 with superstar Rajinikanth and so on. Anyway it has been revealed that the first primary option to play the female lead wasn't Amy Jackson.

AL Vijay has uncovered that he had at first attempted to sign Hollywood entertainer Vanessa Hudgens of Spring Breakers fame however couldn't contact her. Anyway he was feeling appealed seeing Amy's photographs in the wake of winning Miss World Teen, and she had sought the tryouts of Madarasapattinam audition and was quickly marked to join the group.
