Makaklselvan Vijay Sethupathi awaiting for the release Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master featuring Vijay and his next movie Tughlaq Darbar directed by debutant Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan and produced by 7 Screen Studio, Tughlaq Durbar will have Vijay Sethupathi playing a character named Singam who's a cheat and doesn't do beneficial things, and is about how he enters legislative issues and how he changes to a decent  good individual. 

Tughlaq Durbar has Parthiban as the antagonist and Manjima Mohan plays Vijay Sethupathi's sister in the film. Aditi rao hydari plays Vijay Sethupathi's  love interest.
