The OST is set to release on August 15th, and Thaman has revealed that there's a surprise extra track in store for us.

Thaman, who is known for creating hit music in the South Indian film industry, announced today that the original soundtrack album for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's film will now feature a total of 22 tracks. This movie, which hit theaters in January and turned into a massive box office success, is getting even more musical treats. After a considerable wait, the Varisu OST is finally set to launch tomorrow. Thaman had been busy with other film projects after the movie's initial release earlier this year. Initially, it was revealed that there would be 21 tracks in the OST, but with this new announcement from Thaman, fans are in for a delightful musical surprise.

Thaman's songs in Varisu have been absolute chart-toppers. Notably, the track 'Ranjithame' remained at the top of charts for several weeks after its release. The movie achieved a worldwide collection of over 300 crores, adding another significant achievement to Vijay's already illustrious career. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by renowned Telugu producer-distributor Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, this family drama featured national sensation Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
