Thalapathy Vijay and Jyothika: On-Screen Reunion After Two Decades for "Thalapathy 68"?

Guess what? Latest Buzz is that Thalapathy Vijay might pair with Jyothika on the big screen again, after a whopping 20 years! Thalapathy Vijay is enjoying his vacation in Europe after wrapping up his part in the movie 'Leo', directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This exciting film, featuring Anirudh's music and co-starring Trisha and Sanjay Dutt, is all set to hit theaters worldwide on October 19th.

On the other hand, director Venkat Prabhu is busy in pre-production orks for his upcoming film starring Vijay, which is currently titled 'Thalapathy 68'. Yuvan Shankar Raja is in charge of the music, and AGS Productions is backing the project. A few months ago, rumors were buzzing that director Venkat Prabhu was interested in having Jyothika as the main female lead. Now, insiders say that the team has actually reached out to the accomplished actress and asked for her availability in October and November.


If everything comes together, it means Vijay and Jyothika, who previously appeared in the hit movies 'Kushi' and 'Thirumalai', could be sharing the screen after an incredible two decades! Interestingly, in the past, Atlee also considered Jyothika for a role alongside Vijay in 'Mersal', but eventually chose Nithya Menen for that memorable character.
